REDDITSPEHERE–After her owner posted a photo of her on Reddit, Brownie the Dog garnered more than 1.2 million upvotes and received a massive dopamine hit on which she overdosed.
“Woof!” she reportedly explained, moments before she OD-ed.
Brownie was sent to the E.R., where medical personnel administered an enormous dose of Seroquel, an antipsychotic and dopamine antagonist, to calm the dog.
Unbeknownst to the doctors, Seroquel is toxic to dogs, so doctors had to later induce vomiting by injecting an emetic as the dog rolled around in a daze.
“Shit, what have we done?” a nurse allegedly stated.
“Ow-weee!” responded Brownie.
Brownie is now in stable condition and is expected to fully recover within 24 hours. Her owner has already posted another photo of her on Reddit.
